LSR & IntElect - Smooth Operators

At the West exhibition (California, USA) we showed an LSR processing on an IntElect machine for the first time in the US.

The machine was equipped with a 128-cavity mould for the production of single-wire end caps. The system excelled with a highly precise process control, a particularly smooth
operation as well as exactly parallel ejector and mould movemnets.

Sumitomo and Demag Integration Update

Sumitomo and Demag will integrate both companies in Europe by the end of 2008. The integration of Demag Plastics Group, Schwaig, into the Sumitomo Heavy Industries Group is proceeding efficiently.
