Demag Hamilton Sales Regions
Demag Plastics Group is represented by five sales regions in the UK and Eire.
Central Region
The Central Region is represented by our National Sales Manager - Alan Bennett. Alan comments "As the National Sales Manager for Demag Hamilton I have responsibility for the Area Sales Managers as well as the sales of machines in the West and East Midlands, Norfolk and Suffolk.
I joined the company in 2004 and from the very first day was impressed with the company structure, its workforce and the work ethic of the staff, we have always had probably the best service and after sales available in the plastics industry and now we are striving to achieve the best sales team in the industry to match, and I'm confident we have the right people on board to do this, customer satisfaction will always come first.
Personally, I started work as an apprentice engineer in 1978 at what was Smiths Containers, now RPC and carried on the engineering background into a service role, my sales experience started in 1992 and since then I have good sales knowledge in most types of plastics machinery as well as automation and ancillaries.

Northern Region
The Northern Sales Region is covered by Dave Raine. Until 2008, Dave represented Demag products with Hardie Polymers, our agent in Scotland and the North East. Since January 2008, Dave has joined the Demag team on a full time basis. Dave started his career in manufacturing at Jaycare in the North-east, before moving into a technical sales role with Hardie Polymers. As well as Injection Moulding machines, Dave has considerable experience in tool design, materials, ancillary equipment.
In his spare time Dave enjoys mountain biking and climbing.
South East
As Area Sale Manager for the South East based in Sussex. I am responsible for all the day to day management of the South Eastern sales area, from new customer contacts through to order negotiations and post sales. With more than 20 years sales experience in the plastics industry I have worked with some of the largest and some of the smallest companies. I apply all this knowledge and experience to ensure my customers receive the highest level of customer service. I also have a sound engineering background which in this highly technical market, allows me to fully understand my customer’s needs.
Away from work I am a keen cross country runner.
South West
I have recently taken up the role of South West Area Sales Manager. With over 20 years experience in the injection moulding industry, 10 of which have been in a processing and training role, I am now looking forward to using that experience to support and develop Demags customers.
My manufacturing background is in the automotive component industry, starting as a technician then process engineer and production manager. This was followed by many years with Demag as a process and training engineer.
Outside of work , family permitting, I am learning to fly.

Eire
Eire is covered by our agent Total Polymer Solutions, Total Polymer Solutions was founded in December 2002 by Ronan Kennedy and Eamonn Keane supplying PVC compounds, Engineering Materials, Coloured Compounds and Masterbatches to the Plastics Industry.
Internal Sales
Our Internal Sales Engineer - Nick Stockton, started with Demag Hamilton as an apprentice engineer, and after a 5 year apprenticeship qualified to work as a fully fledged service engineer. Nick worked on the road fault finding on Demag injection moulding machines until a recent move into the sales department. Nick is now managing the machine quoting system and making sure machine orders are properly looked after from start to finish. While at the same time supporting the Sales Engineers with any technical information that they may need. Nick is a keen Rugby Union supporter, following both England Rugby Union and London Wasps.
